It's not a surprise it's no secret that Madden Ultimate Team can be described as EA's top revenue-maker every year during Madden. It's also the mode that's most controversial and card collectors are in love with new art and cards however, they are not a fan of microtransactions and pay-to-win models. In light of recent speculation about EA possibly moving to subscribe to a model in the near future, this is the perfect time to think about the ways Madden Ultimate Team can be modified to suit the model of a subscription-based one for Madden.

As currently, Madden Ultimate Team is constantly updated with new card games and challenges all through the season. From the most feared to single challenges that reflect Madden Championship Series, to solo challenges that reflect Madden Championship Series there are new challenges coming out regularly enough that will keep the avid card enthusiasts busy.

So why fix something that's not broken? Like an old-fashioned veteran of the actual NFL It's better to cut the bait earlier than to wait until a year later. Despite the addition of new programs, games and challenges that are released regularly, Madden Ultimate Team has witnessed very little change to the basic gameplay game. Madden NFL 23 tried to improve this by introducing MUT Squads to this season's game, but from most reports the mode isn't anything that completely reinvents the MUT wheel.

In the current state, Madden Solo Challenges are only able to earn "X" number of yards over "Y" amount of games or to beat the opponent under "Z" circumstances. It's not that they're not good goals to establish to challenge players However, as solo challenges are now numbered in hundreds, it may get quite boring.

What better way to incorporate the best Gauntlet method (skills trainer rather than the MUT Gauntlet) challenges? The rewards could be small to show the fun aspect of the problems. Who wouldn't like to kick 90 yards in a field goal, or do one-on-three to get the goal? Perhaps even incorporating certain team training exercises from CFM could be a great alternative to the usual individual challenge.
